True man show was a cool as moovie

i loved the scene at the end where the Creator was convincing truman to stay in the show. In the context, the creator wants Truman to stay cus without him the show is over. But the entire conversation can be summed up to a deity/god talking to a person. The things he says are very interesting too. He says something along the lines of "If you go out there, everything is unknown. There will be decietes and lies and bad stuff and all other things you couldn't even comprehend. But you could stay in here, where I have built you the perfect world. A world suited for you, a world where everything is just as it should be and you can live happy." and then Truman is all like "HELLL NAW" but in reality he was thinking about how that would be very very boring. Living in a world knowing not only that 1. its all fake, and 2. nothing new will ever happen, that would drive someone insane.

Imagine living in a jail cell with a tablet and all you get to do is play CoComelon videos all day. that is your life. At the start, you don't know any better, you assume this is life. But once you learn of the real world outside the cell, you would be driven by curiosity and determinism to find out the truest reality you can. In short, you will want to leave the jail cell, but only if you know of something being outside the cell. Your only perception of reality before you got your peek out is only what's in the cell, you assume the cell is all there is to life, but once you learn of there being something OUTSIDE the cell, you start to feel trapped once put back in it. Theres something called Platos myth of the Cave that explains this like 2000% better so check that out too.

ALso outer wilds. Outer wilds kind of presents this too, but it kind of plays with death a bit more. kind of the same principle that the push of curiosity is greater than the fear of death. I guess you can't die in that game, but at the end when ***SPOILERS YOU REALLY SHOULD PLAY THIS GAME*** so at the end when you (*"<>"*) when you need to unplug your time mashine to (HEAVY SPOILER TERRITORY) you must unplug the time machine aka your no-death machine to go find the (spoiler findal worning) Find the eye of the universe. CUriosty pushes you and even though you are practically terrified cus if you fuck up and die than thats it, you are more motivated to see the thing than you are scared to die. THat is that thing student hello class.
